Untuk daftar Counter Strike Online ada dua cara, yaitu melalui halaman member Megaxus atau melalui halaman Counter Strike Online.
Untuk pembuatan akun di halaman Counter Strike Online lebih simpel dan mudah, hanya harus mengisi 6 data, yaitu Megaxus ID, Password, Email, PIN, Gender, dan Kode verifikasi [gambar 1]. Sedangkan pembuatan akun di halaman member Megaxus ada beberapa tambahan data lagi yang harus diisi, seperti No. Handphone, Nickname, dan data lainnya [gambar 2].

Jadi disarankan untuk mendaftar di halaman Counter Strike Online karena faktor kemudahan. Dan nanti pada proses pendaftaran Counter Strike Online disarankan untuk mengisi ID Megaxus dan ID CSO dengan nama yang sama agar lebih mudah untuk mengingatnya, karena ID tersebut digunakan untuk proses login ke game Counter Strike Online.
Berikut ini langkah-langkah daftar (sign up) Counter Strike Online :
- Buka halaman Counter Strike Online Megaxus
- Isi data-data yang ada di Register form [gambar 1] (form terdapat di sebelah kanan) :
- Megaxus ID (5-10 karakter)
- Password (5-15 karakter)
- PIN (harus 6 angka)
- Gender (pilih Laki-laki atau Perempuan)
- Kode verifikasi (berdasarkan kode di sampingnya)
- Klik tombol Submit
- Pembuatan ID Megaxus sudah selesai. Selanjutnya membuat akun / ID Counter Strike Online
- Buka game Counter Strike Online [gambar 3]
- Login menggunakan ID Megaxus dan password yang didaftarkan tadi [gambar 4]
- Akan muncul Pembuatan ID Counter Strike Online. Isi ID (4-16 karakter, huruf dan angka) dan tekan tombol Ok. [gambar 5]
- Proses daftar Counter Strike Online selesai

Pihak Counter Strike Online memberi kemudahan bagi pemain baru untuk daftar di Counter Strike Online. Kita tidak perlu mengakses email untuk mengaktifkan ataupun verifikasi kode. Tetapi jika kita lupa akan data-data login (ID Megaxus dan Password), maka kita harus membuat akun baru, karena tidak ada fitur Lupa password yang berfungsi sebagai pemberi informasi login. Oleh karena itu disarankan untuk mengingat data login dan juga perlu untuk dicatat. Hal ini memang sepele tetapi banyak pemain CSO yang kehilangan akun karena hal yang demikian.
